 Aluminum Oxide Overview:
High purity White aluminum oxide is a kind of middle or high level refractory material. with the eye-catching white color and the advantage of high density and low micro porosity, it can effectively improve the volume stability and the thermal shock resistance of the material. It is the mainly raw material to produce middle or high level unshaped or shaped refractory material. It is applied to the unshaped refractory materials, such as refractory carstables for ladles, middle or high level iron runner casting material, gunning refractory and fabricate parts ect. It also can be used to kinds of corundum products, such as corundum bricks, corundum, mullite corundum, refining corundum perforated bricks, overall blowtorch and combined nozzle, side ceiling of the high temperature kiln, ect. All in all, it is widely used in steel, cement, ceramics, grinding material and petrochemical industries.

 Application
(1) The product has been used as filler to produce artificial marble (DuPont stone) for its low viscosity in resins and quick hardening at room temperature.
(2) The product has been used in polyvinyl chloride, epoxy resin, polyester resin, polyurethane resin, PE, EVA, rubber, silicone rubber, electrical and electronic products as fire-retarding filler, especially surface-coating powder offer better compatibility with resins, the properties of resultant articles display better mechanical, flame retarding and smoke inhibiting properties.
(3) The product has been used in preparing toothpaste as an excellent frictional agent for high- and middle-class toothpaste duo to its moderate hardness and good taste.
(4) The product has been applied in water-proof fabric, ink, glass, filler of paper, mordant, water-purifying agents, also used for preparing aluminum based compounds and lubricants.
